Here is a sample of an email that a scammer may send you:

"i am Miss Sonia patrick benson Nationality of Cote d'ivoire . I am 22 years old, a student. I lost my father years back ago. He died druring the political crisis in my country. My late father was one of the directors under tijan kabbah government, and my mother died January 9, 2010 at 4:23am in cocody private hospital here in my country. Dear Sir, it is my desire to write you from my heart hoping that you will not betray me. My father deposited the some of US$8,000,000.00 (Eight Million United State Dollars) with a Bank here in my country Cote d' Ivoire when he was alife.Dear Sir, please contact me for full details"               

"This Is For My Love Ones In The Lord,

My name is Mrs.Stella Adam, I am a dying woman who has decided to donate what I have to you and to support your humanitarian activities and to help the poor and the needy in Your society.

DO NOT SEND MONEY to people you meet on muslim4christiandating. There are many scams coming from Nigeria, Ghana, the UK and other foreign countries. With a U.S. based account, these con artists will pretend to be working or living in a foreign country. They will typically communicate with you by gaining your trust over a period of time through e-mail or instant messenger, then request that you wire them money so they may deal with some unexpected difficulty. Although there are many variations of this scam, you need remember only one rule: DO NOT SEND MONEY TO PEOPLE YOU HAVE NEVER MET BEFORE no matter how convincing it sounds.
